I only knew JoAnne for a short while--as her caregiver I felt we had been friends for years. We enjoyed our visits and discussed friends--family and exchanged recipes.I will never see Pioneer Woman without thinking of JoAnne. It didn't matter what we were doing it came to a stop to watch Pioneer Woman. JoAnne I miss you.My deepest sympathy to Joe and the family.Carolyn Dressler

Dear Joe and family,I'm so sorry, I worked with JoAnne at MESD. One of the memories I have is getting together after work for a mini quilt class and making a "Boston Common" quilt. I also would stop by her desk many, many times for a chat. I know she will be missed greatly. I feel sad that I won't be able to make it on Friday to gather with all of you, but I know I will see her again in Heaven. I feel so privileged to have been a friend. Prayers for all, Nancy Pietzold
Dear Joe, Jeannie and Jennifer,I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies to you all.JoAnne took such good care of me for many years at MESD as our secretary and as a friend. She did her job so well but the thing that got noticed was her kindness and patience. She was an older sister to young and old alike. She made my work days fun, always ready with a laugh and maybe a crazy story or two. Her generosity was her gift to those who struggled. Every year she organized a Christmas giving charity. I remember on one of her birthdays she organized a food drive, asking people to give food and no gifts. We could hardly get around the office, there was so much!! She loved it.She will always be loved and missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Jo Anne was a good friend and not a sweeter or kinder person exists. My heart goes out to the family, but I know she is in a far better place. I will miss her terribly.
