Jeffrey Todd Rainforth's Obituary
On Apirl 4 2023 Jeffrey (Jeff) Todd Rainforth was called home after his courageous battle with cancer. Jeff had a warrior’s heart but God needed him to come home. Jeff was born on June 6th 1965 in Salem Oregon to Darrell and Jeanine Rainforth . The new family moved to Milwaukie Oregon where Jeff grew up and went to High School at Clackamas High, where he played basketball and Football while be coached by his Dad . Jeff graduated high school in 1983 and attended Clackamas Community College studying fire science. Jeff started working for the North Clackamas School District in 1987 where he continued to be employed for the next 37 years.
Jeff lived a full and vibrant life, touching the lives of many with his kindness , generosity and his big heart warming smile. He always had a can do attitude and of course as always a huge smile.
Jeff devoted much of his time to his loved ones and was well-loved for his positive outlook and unwavering support. He always had a smile on his face and was quick to offer assistance or share his wisdom with those around him. He was especially looking forward to walking his youngest daughter down the aisle to give her away at her wedding in the summer of 2024. Jeff was always involved in his children’s school activities and he helped coach basketball for his son’s team and coached his younger daughter’s team in grade school. He enjoyed working and volunteering with his son’s Cub Scouts club. Jeff loved camping, The Dallas Cowboys, LA Lakers and the Oregon State Beavers as well as The Cubs. But he loved nothing more than God , his wife , children and his parents.
He is survived by his spouse, Cindy Rainforth, who was not only the love of his life but also his best friend and constant companion. Their partnership was a testament to true love and an example for others to emulate.
Jeff is also survived by his 3 children Aubrey Rainforth of (Oregon City) Chase Rainforth of Oregon City and Alyssa Rainforth (Ian) Mulino, Oregon His beloved Mother Jeanine Rainforth also of Oregon City Oregon. And many more beloved aunts, Uncles, nieces and Nephews and special friends. Jeff is proceeded in Death by his Father Darrell Rainforth of Oregon City a brother Jon Rainforth of Portland Oregon
While we mourn the loss of Jeff, we also celebrate the life he lived and the happiness he brought to those who knew him and that he will be waiting for us all to return to Jesus. A Celebration of Life will be held at Aldercreek Middle School on May 20 2023 at 1pm -3pm
