Jean Elaine Welch's Obituary
Jean E. Welch, aged 80, died peacefully on July 16, 2016 at her daughter's home in Canby, Oregon.
Jean was born on September 3, 1934, in Carrington South Dakota, and was the daughter of Ray and Eleanor Greggersen. Jean and her family moved to Oregon when she was around 3-4 years of age and she attended both Willamette Elementary and Oregon City High School, graduating with the class of 1952.
Jean enjoyed bowling, painting and watching her children and grandchildren grow and thrive. Jean liked to keep very busy and was able to continue bowling and painting up into her late 70's. Jean's other passion was BINGO and she always did very well at it, calling out her last win just one month ago!
Jean leaves behind three loving children, Denise L. Wheeler, Craig A. Koch, and Paula J. Nardin, and four grandchildren: Jeff Wheeler, Kiersten Kane, Kevin Koch, and Joseph Nardin. Jean was preceded in death by her Sister - Rachel Easton, Husband - Paul E. Welch, Son - Keith E. Koch and Son - Phillip R. Koch.
Services will be held on Monday July 25, 2016 @ 2:00pm at the Willamette National Cemetery.
