Janiece Ann MillerJuly 25, 1945 - January 11, 2014Janiece was born in Yuma, Arizona to Floyd and Kathryne Miller. She graduated from West Linn High School, Marylhurst College and the University of Portland. She taught third and fourth grade in the Canby School District for several years. Additionally, she was an owner/nurseryman at the Rosemont Nursery and later was a partner in the Franklin Nursery. For 18 years she was conservation director for the Clackamas County Soil and Water District and was instrumental in the cleanup of the Tualatin River.Janiece is survived by her sister Linda Miller, aunt Irene Anderson, several cousins including Stephen Anderson and Mike Anderson (Shannon) and her constant companion, Smokey.Services for Janice will be held at St. John's Cemetery in Oregon City at a future date. Janiece was kind and a very generous person and will be greatly missed. In leu of flowers, donations can be made to the Clackamas County Dog Services.
