Janice Faye Lindland's Obituary
Janice Faye Lindland, 71, of Bay City, Oregon, died November 5, 2018 at 8:45 pm in Portland, Oregon. She died from congestive heart failure, while showing bravery and continued compassion for her family and friends in spite of illness.
Janice was born in Oregon City, July 6, 1947, the youngest daughter of James Lindland and Mary Bond Lindland. She was preceded in death by her parents and older sister Joyce Lindland Brown. She is survived by a sister Carol Lindland Pattee and husband, Dr. Burton Pattee. She loved her daughters Heather Neifert of Colorado and Amanda Burns of Seaside. Her son-in-law is Robert Neifert of Colorado. Her daughters were a part of her daily conversation and happiness. Grandsons Brian Maberry and Lane Nelson, both of Colorado, were continually in her thoughts. She has many cousins, nephews and nieces, and a dear friend Jan Ladd.
She graduated from Milwaukie High School in 1965 and had a great time attending her 50th high school reunion. She loved her church family and activities such as choir and worthwhile projects at Bay City United Methodist Church. She had been active in the Red Hat Society and TOPS Club. She was able to complete one of her dreams by taking an Alaska Cruise in July with her sister, Carol. She wanted to participate in every activity that existed on that venture, a wonderful zest for life that she also showed during her last month at Robison Care Center.
