Janice Lynn Hopkins passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends on Tuesday
July 18th 2023. Janice was born on May 8th 1955 to her parents Ron and Donna Miller in Portland, Oregon. She attended Oak Grove grade school and graduated from Rex Putnam High School in 1973.
Janice gave birth to her son Jason in 1976. She married the love of her life on June 30th 1984.
She worked as a hairstylist for 40 years. She worked at various salons over the years with many loyal clients (many becoming good friends) following her throughout her career. Janice enjoyed listening to music and loved to dance. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and going on her annual girl trips to Sunriver and the beach with her Sisters and friends the group was known as “The Honeybees”. Janice enjoyed many trips to the sand dunes along the Oregon coast riding 4 wheelers and camping with friends and family. She loved animals especially a spunky little golden retriever named Rio. Janice is survived by her husband Jim her Son Jason (Wendy) Brother Dennis her Sisters Karen and Susan and many nieces and nephews and grandchildren. We all love you. Janice's celebration of life will be held at Hopkins demonstration forest/Everett Hall Sunday September 17th from 1pm to 4pm.
