Hugh Arnold Brown's Obituary
In loving memory of Hugh Arnold Brown, passed away on May 31, 2026. He was born on May 13, 1944. The son of Roy Lawrence Brown and Alice Berdina Christner Brown. He was the devoted husband of Yong Ok, father of Randy (Shannon) and Rick (Kerrie). He lovingly leaves behind grandchildren: Harrison, Samii, Kierra, Tristan, and Amelia. As well as great grandchildren Emmerson and Emma. He is loved and missed by many.
Hugh was a kind, patient, and generous man who worked hard, provided well, and shared a great sense of humor with a lighthearted nature. When he was truly happy one might hear him humming or singing the tunes of a Johnny Horton or Johnny Cash.
He was at numerous family functions as family was cherished by him.
He retired from 20 years of service in the Airforce as an Aircraft Mechanic. This included serving in Vietnam. Following his military career, he farmed land on Pete’s Mountain and then became a Professional Automotive Refinisher. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and taking road trips. But his passion was gardening. He shared his knowledge and fruits of his labor with everyone. He was incredibly generous and had a loving heart.
He is deeply loved and greatly missed. He “leaves a hole in the room” but is forever in our hearts.
