Mrs. Ekerson was a good friend of my moms Phyllis Busch. The worked together on many various projects at St. John the Apostle in Oregon City. She grew beautiful flowers that she brought to many events at St. John's.

To Lorraine's children & family: What a gift Lorraine was. She was always welcoming and a good friend to my mother (Betty Jean Weber Gardner Getman) and my godmother, Pat Vedder. I'd see her at church when I came into town to visit and once I stopped by the house and she was in the garden. She remembered me and invited me to chat. It was a precious time to go through memories and to catch up. Growing up, my brother & sisters & I spent a lot of time at the Ekerson house; it was always a bustle of activity and all were welcome. To me, she was a treasure. My deepest condolences to you all. Heaven is richer.
