Helen Marie Cooper's Obituary
Helen Marie Cooper was born in Big Fork, AR. She passed away on December 19,2024 in her room at River Terrace Memory Care in Oregon City, OR. She was 88 years old at the time of her passing.
Helen was raised on her family’s farm in Mena, AR. She lived in Mena until she left to attend college at Mary Hardin-Baylor college in Texas. She studied Business with a focus on Accounting in college. After college Helen moved to Springfield, OR where she met and married Lloyd Cooper in 1957. Helen and Lloyd had two daughters and were married for over 65 years when he passed away in 2023. Helen and family moved from Springfield, OR to Portland, OR in 1967. They stayed in Portland until 2021 when Helen and Lloyd moved to Oregon City, OR.
Helen is survived by her two daughters, Diane Rishel and Pam Meyer, their spouses Todd and Bruce, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Helen made lasting impressions on many around her with her sweet disposition. She will be missed.
