Glenn Warren Brush's Obituary
Glenn Warren Brush passed away on October 8, in Oregon City. He was 60 years old. Glenn was born to parents Walter and Merrilou Brush on February 20, 1952, in Portland. He graduated from Oregon City High School, and attended Clackamas Community College for one year. On September 12, 1981, Glenn married Linda Walden in Colton, Oregon. Glenn should have been awarded "Husband of the year". He and his wife were married for 31 blissful years. He enjoyed spoiling her and she in return. Glenn worked as a bus operator for Tri-Met for 30 years. He was named "Operator of the year" at the Powell Garage, and also served as union officer for one year. Glenn loved riding dune buggies, hunting, fishing, working with his hands, welding, and teaching his nieces, nephews and all kids how to ride dune buggies and work on motors. Glenn loved people. There was nobody he couldn't speak with. He was always joking with his co-workers and riders of his bus. He always looked out for his passengers, quite often helping them move on his days off or visiting elderly passengers. One passenger recounted his singing to the passengers when his bus broke down and a full bus was waiting for a replacement bus. Everyone that came in contact with Glenn has a wonderful story to tell. Glenn is survived by his wife, Linda Brush, his daughter, Heather Kinslow, his grandchildren James Dean Vockrodt and Annabelle Nadine Lee Vockrodt, his brother Charles Brush, Sr., as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dale Ann Matthews and Shirlene Brush, his brother Theodore Brush and his parents. We are all blessed to have known him. He will be so very truly missed. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association. For service information, please contact the family. Arrangements by Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud.
