Gerald Wallis passed away January 2, 2016, in Portland from complications associated with diabetes. He was 55. Gerald was born on February 15, 1960, to Harold and Betty Wallis in Oregon City. He graduated from Gladstone High School where he had many friends. His parents were very proud when he became and Eagle Scout. He attended Portland State University where he studied Criminal Justice and worked as a private investigator for insurance companies for many years following-up fraud cases. He is survived by his parents Harold and Betty Wallis and his sister, Cheryl Borden. Donations in his honor may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16 at 10:00 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, 290 W. Gloucester, Gladstone, Oregon.
