George Thomas Livingston's Obituary
George Thomas Livingston quietly passed away, on the morning of December 9th, 2016 at the age of 69, in Creswell Oregon. He was born October 8th, 1947 in Oregon City to William and Josephine (Gould) Livingston Sr. George was the youngest of six children. George served in the United States Army from October 1964 to October 1967. George married his true love, Linda Elaine Livingston, on August 31st, 1968. She preceded him in death in December of 2000. His eldest son George Carroll "Bud" Livingston preceded him in death in April of 2005. His brother Bill Livingston and sisters Nancy Beauvais and Mary Robinson, all preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter Angela Koch, son in law Daniel Koch (Creswell, OR) and son William S. Livingston (Oregon City, OR) and six grandchildren; Gunner, Riley, Ava, Jasmyn, William and Vanessa, Brothers; Jim Livingston and Al Livingston George was a Truck Driver for USF Reddaway until he retired in 2008. Some of his hobbies that he loved were being up in the woods, camping, wood cutting, hunting and fishing. His most favorite hobbies during retirement was reading and spending time with his grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Mt. View Cemetery in Oregon City on Monday, December 19th at 1:00 PM at the new Mausoleum. A Gathering of Family and Friends to celebrate George's life will be held directly after, at the Pioneer Community Center at 615 5th Street in Oregon City located in the Daylight Basement room, the entrance is located on the corner of 5th and Washington. George's family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Cascade Health Solutions (Hospice) in Lane County, who provided comfort care with loving kindness in his final weeks and days. Donations can be made to the new Hospice House to help support families on Hospice care.
