George Edgar Casper9/29/1931 - 11/11/2013George Edgar Casper was born on September 29, 1931, to Edgar Alonzo Casper and Teresa May (Stang) Casper at Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. George was married to Delrose Elizabeth Neu on August 7, 1953. Delrose died on August 28, 1997. He is survived by his children Steve Gary Casper and Brenda Lea Piplovick (husband Steven); his three grandchildren Paul Anthony Piplovick, Allen Mathew Piplovick, and Kelsey Christine Casper; his two living sisters are Charline DeGroot and Donna Carlson, and several nieces and nephews; along with many friends. George belonged to the Elks for over 50 years and with the Oregon Laborers' Union for 35 years. After retiring, he enjoyed driving transport for U-Hal for 17 years. George was active with the 40th Division Korean War Veterans. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to 40th Division Korean War Veterans, P.O. Box 11578, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33339. On December 6, 2013, at 1:30 p.m., there will be military honors and inurnment at Willamette National Cemetery, followed by a reception at High Rocks Restaurant.
