Frances E Petersen's Obituary
Frances E Petersen of Oregon City died Thursday morning, September 5th, of natural causes, at the age of 83. Mrs. Petersen was born October 4, 1930. She was one of 9 children and moved with her family from Alberta Canada to Oregon while in her teens. She married Clarence (Otto) Petersen in January of 1949. They were married 52 years until his passing in 2001. She is survived by her three brothers, five children, and many grandkids and great grandkids. Mrs. Petersen and her husband worked as florists until retirement in the early 80's. She loved gardening, reading, camping, water activities, and children. She was known to make the best apple pie ever! Survivors include three sons, Brian Petersen of Dallas Texas, Charles Petersen of Salem, Robert Petersen of New Jersey; and two daughters, Rachael Petersen and Kris Clancy, both from the Portland area. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oregon Humane Society.
