Fay Garner
December 6, 1921 - August 8, 2015
Fay was born December 6, 1921, to Joe and Linda Otnes in Saskatchewan, Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband John Garner and her stepdaughters Rita Patricia Netzel and Joan Garner. She is survived by her sister Janice Gentry of Portland, Oregon, many nieces and nephews, and five siblings.
Fay was raised in North Dakota where she taught grade school as a young adult. She moved to Oregon with her family in 1943. Fay worked at Crown Zellerbach paper mill in Oregon City. She was also a licensed hair dresser and a sales associate with Lance Apparel. She was a member of Harmony Evangelical Church for over 40 years. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Fay Garner at 11:00am Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Harmony Evangelical Church, 12332 SE Fuller Rd, Milwaukie.
