Esther Anita Ekerson
12/30/1920 - 10/15/2015
Born to Charles and Ida Carlson and raised in Canby, Oregon. She graduated Canby Highschool and then married George Ekerson on January 21, 1944. Esther worked as a bookkeeper at Fredricks & Burmiester & Adresen and as a receptionist at The Castle Restaurant.
Esther is preceded in death by her husband George Ekerson and son Charles Ekerson. She is survived by daughter Terri King and son John Ekerson and daughter-in-law Cathy. Her grandchildren include John (Adrienne) Janessa and Jesse (Britne) Ekerson and great granddaughters Lucy, Olive and Peyton.
A memorial mass will be held at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:30AM. A reception at the Oregon City Elks Lodge will follow.
