Earl Frederick Pulford's Obituary
Earl Pulford, 91 years old. passed away at home after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ina; his five children,Cathy, Fred, Mike, Bob, and Carol; nine beloved grand-children; and one great-grandchild. Earl grew up in Duluth, Minn., and graduated with a degree in Biology from Washington State U.His career was with Oregon State Fish and Wildlife as a fisheries biologist, specializing in salmon. This is where he met Ina, who was a secretary. Earl was also a World War II vet who served in the S. Pacific. He shipped out from San Francisco, and just this last September he walked across the Golden Gate Bridge in honor of that memory. Earl enjoyed so many things, including bird watching, hiking, camping, crossword puzzles, baseball, Beavers football,the Indy 500, music, swimming, lifting weights with his friends, and taking his dog, Ozzy, for walks with Ina. Heespecially enjoyed spending time with his family. He had an incredible memory and sense of humor. We will miss his laugh and wonderful stories. A Service was held at Willamette National Cemetery.
