Duane R Shearer's Obituary
Duane R. Shearer, (Duaner) beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away in his home on May 8th, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Duane worked as an electrician for 28 years and was a proud member of the IBEW union for 57 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication to his trade, and the kindness and loyalty he showed to those around him throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William S. Shearer mother, Sarah Olwyn; his son, Alan Shearer; and his grandson, Tyler Shearer.
Duane is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Wanda Shearer; his son, Terry Shearer; his granddaughters, Whitney, Lindsey, Jenna, and Kayla; and his great-grandchildren, Mollie, Maverick, and Presley.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
