Dorothea Jordan Meagher's Obituary
Dorothea Jordan Meagher April 19, 1927 - August 30, 2023 It was during a spring Montana blizzard that Dorothea joined the Jordan family of Albert and Amanda and brother Paul. Her early education in Kalispell schools prepared her well for college life at Washington State University. Upon graduation from that institution, she journeyed to California to complete her dietetic internship and advanced degree. Her long career as a registered dietitian provided unlimited opportunities to work with colleges and universities, hospitals, and a wide variety of community settings. She and husband Frances had a very devoted 57 year marriage that can best be summarized with this favorite statement: “The best times of our lives are when we are together.” She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011.
