Dorine M. Enz's Obituary
Dorine M. Enz, 77, a retired teacher, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3rd, at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center in Clackamas, Oregon. She was born in Lewiston, Idaho, to Breece and Joy Davis and grew up in Lewiston,Idaho. She attended grade school in Anatone, Washington, and junior high in Lewiston.
In 1963, Dorine and her family moved to the Seattle area, where she completed high school before attending the University of Puget Sound. In August 1970, Dorine married Jonathan Enz in Seattle, Washington.
In 1975, Dorine and Jonathan moved to Oregon City, Oregon, with their two sons. After a long and rewarding teaching career, she retired and enjoyed traveling the world with Jonathan.
An accomplished clarinetist and pianist, Dorine loved sharing her musical talents through community bands and church choirs. She found great joy in serving others, singing, traveling, camping, snowshoeing, and spending time with friends and family.
Dorine is survived by her husband of 55 years, Reverend Jonathan Enz (Retired) of Portland, Oregon; sons David Enz of Molalla, Oregon, and Michael Enz of Fincastle, Virginia; and three grandchildren—Savannah (Enz) Rowland, Hunter Enz, and Colton Enz.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 25, at 4:00 p.m. at the Oregon City United Methodist Church, 18955 South End Road, Oregon City, Oregon, with Pastor Tom Orquiza-Renardo officiating.
