Donald F. Vedder's Obituary
Donald F. Vedder passed on Sunday at his home in Oregon City. Don is survived by his wife Pat, sons Brenton and Ronald, daughters Melissa Duffy and Karen DeMoss, nine grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.Don was raised in the Gladstone/West Linn area and attended Washington High School in Portland. Following high school, Don attended Portland State and proudly served his country with the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Instilled with the spirit of hard work, Don worked as a truck driver, tax assessor and real estate broker. Don was a member of the Oregon City Rotary Club (Paul Harris Fellow) and the Oregon City Chamber of Commerce. Don was also a faithful volunteer serving the Civil Service Commission (16 years) as well as helping with various city civic service projects. Don loved hunting, fishing, family and cutting wood.A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 15th at 11:00AM at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.
