Donald Gribble 03/03/1921 - 08/25/2018
Donald, a lifelong resident of Oregon City, passed away on Saturday, August 25, in his home.
Donald was born on March 3, 1921 in Oregon City to Ralph and Agnes May Gribble. He graduated from Oregon City High School in 1939. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was employed with the Oregon City School District for 30 years where he taught Math and coached at GardIner Jr. High. On Nov 21, 1951 he married Gwen Montgomery.
Donald is survived by his wife, Gwen, his children Mike (wife Kathy) of Tillamook, Oregon, Elaine Goertz (husband Jim) of Oregon City, Oregon, Mark (wife Tereena) of Oregon City, Oregon, and Susan Gribble of Oregon City, Oregon. He has 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Donald enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, woodworking, golf, and watching college basketball.
There will be a service and reception on Friday, September 7 at 11:00am at Oregon City Evangelical Church, 1024 Linn Avenue, Oregon City, Oregon.
