Dolores Ann Jones
July 2, 1926 - June 18, 2017
Dolores Jones passed away peacefully Sunday June 18th at Marquis Nursing Home.
She was born in Etna, Pennsylvania and graduated from Shaler High School in Glenshaw, PA. She attended All Saints Catholic Church where she was baptized, confirmed and married her beloved husband John Thomas Jones. She is survived by her five children: Susan, Norman, Patricia, Pamela, and Sandra; four grandchildren Sarah, John, Malia and Brett; and eight great-grandchildren.
She worked in Pittsburg PA. as a secretary at McDowell Manufacturing from 1945-1951 where they made machinery and war equipment for WWII. She was a Cub Scout leader in Oregon City and worked as a hostess at The Castle Restaurant and Lounge in Gladstone for 20 years. Followed by many years as a bartender at Howell's Restaurant and Bar in Oregon City. Where she was loved and remembered by many.
A funeral service will be held at St. John's Catholic Church in Oregon City on Tuesday June 27, 2017 @11:00AM and she will be buried next to her husband at Willamette National cemetery.
There will be a celebration of her life at Howell's Restaurant in Oregon City on July 2 from 3:00-6:00.
