Christine Louise Gale Schweizer's Obituary
Born 5 January 1935. Died 13 March 2026 at the age of 91 years. She was a lifelong resident of West Linn, OR. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded with the love of her 5 children.
She was a graduate of West Linn High School class of 1952. She retired from the Portland Public School System where she worked as date processor. She traveled to many places around the world.
She is survived by her 5 children: Deborah Johnson(Richard), Sandra Barnett, Mark Schweizer(Apple), Joseph Schweizer, Terry Schweizer(Taya); 14 grandchildren: Elizabeth(Pete), Rachael(Joe), Sarah, Benjamin, Ruth(Juan), David(Emily), Samuel, Katalya(Kamal), Jordan, Vitcha(Sunisa), Samatha(Daniel), Daniel, Julia(Cody), Robert(Rachel); and 18 great-grandchildren: Brage, Mahayla(Mitch), Wylee, Lola, Jaida, Allen, Alex, Justin, Anya, Eva, Isla, Olivia, Ayodia, Kalinda, James, Emily, Ezra, and Clara.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and her grandson Michael Price.
Celebration of Life services will be held on 21 March 2026 at 2:00PM PDT at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meeting house at 1395 Rosemont Road, West Linn, OR. Her ashes will be interred following the services with only family members present.
The family requests donations to Providence Hospice in lieu of flowers.
