I have fond memories of Roethe gatherings while growing up. A few years ago, Carolyn helped to organize a Roethe reunion which I appreciated very much. I am sure that she will be missed by her family and friends. A tree has been planted in her honor.
I wish to extend my sympathy to Carolyns family at this time of her home going. I never knew her but this lovely video and obituary helped me sense she was a woman whose faith and family were both important to her and that because love does, she was intentional about loving others well. May her family and friends find comfort in remembering ways Carolyns life impacted theirs for good.
Home grown flowers and glass vases are the fondest memories I have of Aunt Carolyn. Always making visits to seniors with a token of her thoughts and love for each person.
