Dad was born in Westby, Montana (NE Corner near Canada and Idaho). He served in the U.S. Navy from February 15, 1943 to February 18, 1947. He join U.S. Bank in 1947 after his discharge and retired from same in 1982. So he had an unexpectedly long retirement in Canby, Oregon where he lived with his wife Colleen Meeker Johnson until she died on February 13, 2010. Now they are together again at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon!Ron Johnson (son)
