Betty Rittenhouse Bidgood Weldon's Obituary
Betty Rittenhouse Bidgood Weldon, born in Oregon City, Oregon on 12/15/23, passed away at home in Vancouver, WA on 11/26/14. She is survived by her husband, Warren Weldon, and her three children, Jeff Bidgood, Rebecca Bidgood and Sarah Colarchik, one grandchild, Tony Patterson, and two great grandchildren. She taught school in West Linn from 1970 to 1985 at both Sunset and Bolton grade schools. She then moved to Sun River, Oregon and spent countless hours volunteering at the High Desert Museum in Bend, Ore. She and her husband moved to Vancouver, WA in 1998 to be near the children. There will be no funeral, but donations in her name can be made to the Southwest Washington Humane Society,www.southwesthumane.org/. This was her passion, her favorite local cause.
