Angelina Velasquez's Obituary
Angelina Velasquez (Angie) was born in Del Norte, CO, April 24th, 1945 and quietly departed this life February 12th, 2020 in Oregon City, OR.
Angie attended Costilla high school in New Mexico and graduated.
Angie married Albert Velasquez Jr August 20th, 1966.
She retired from the VA Hospital where she was a Pharmacy Technician receiving high praises from co-workers and patients.
She was an active member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed being a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
Her beautiful life will be remembered by her family and many friends.
She is survived by daughter Valorie (Rick) Kloer, granddaughter Britney (Jesse) Ekerson, great grandchildren Peyton Ekerson, and Henry Ekerson, siblings Ruth Romero, Helen (Danny) Krause, Joyce (David) Peverly, and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and six siblings.
Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers she loved so well and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Funeral mass will be held at St John's Catholic Church Tuesday the 25th at 12:30pm then committal ceremony at Willamette National at 2:30pm.
