Tom died peacefully Sept. 12, 2015, with family at his side after a two-year struggle with Lewy body dementia. Tom was born in Anoka, Minn., but spent most of his early years in the Oregon City/Carver area. He attended Holcomb and Carver grade schools before en- rolling at Milwaukie High School and enlisting in the U.S. Marines. He founded Piggyback Plus, a transportation company, and was a lifelong member of the Oregon Elks Club. He is survived by his sisters, Pat Bashaw and Mary Gach; brothers, Mike Rosenbaum and Dennis Rosenbaum; stepson, Erik Maki; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at Holman- Hankins-Bowker & Waud Funeral Home in Oregon City.
