Jeri Lynn (Hawk) Wissman

Jeri Lynn (Hawk) Wissman passed away from cancer on March 11, 2017 at home in the comfort of her family. Jeri was born in China Lake, CA on July 31, 1955 and is the beloved daughter of Robert and Patricia Biesinger. She is survived by her husband Frank in West Linn, OR and siblings Lisa Miller and her husband Mark in Thomaston, GA, Robert Biesinger and his wife Betty in Foster, OR, and Sandy Aguilar and her husband Alfonso in Farmersville, CA. Jeri graduated from Piedmont High School in 1973. She had most recently worked at Silverado Belmont Hills, an Alzheimer's care facility. She spent most of her life in the SF Bay Area and had moved to Oregon in 2014 to be closer to her family. Jeri loved her family, animals, gardening and caring for others. Jeri was loved for her joy of life, her smile and sense of humor and her appreciation that all life is a gift. Donations may be made in her honor to Farm Sanctuary or the ASPCA. A celebration of Jeri's life will be at 1:00PM at the Brownsville Community Church, 198 Washburn Street, Brownsville, OR on April 8.
