Dave John Spear

Dave Spear age 70 of Beavercreek Oregon passed away of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis on Nov 1 2014. He served in the army and was in Viet Nam 1968-1969. Dave was hurt in Viet Nam by a land mine in May of 1969 where he lost both hands. He made a great life for himself by over coming his disability . There was nothing he wouldn't try to do and always found a way. He become a tow truck driver in 1979 and in 1990 bought his own tow truck and starting his towing business called Capt Hook Towing.His other passion in life was vintage cars. He restored a 1952 Chevy which was customized and called the car Angel Eyes. Also his over car was a 1948 Chevy customized and was called Grumpy. Both cars were in magazines and Angel Eyes won numerous awards and made the Hall of Fame.He is survived by wife Sandy, sons Chris and D J . 1 grandson ,Jesse , 2 step grandsons. 4 step granddaughters ,11 great grand children, 1 brother and 3 sisters and 1 brother who has passed.
