Lyle A Fray, age 60, of Oregon City, Oregon, Passed away on August 9, 2019 from natural causes.
He was born on July 19, 1959 in Portland, Oregon. Graduated from David Douglas High School. Attend Boise State College for one year and had Associate Degree in automotive. He is survived by his wife Katie Fray of 14 years, and his 3 sons, Skyler, Elliott, and Noah Fray. He is also survived by father Don and Pat Fray, mother Lucy Fray; sister Debbie Fleck and her husband Frank, brothers Larry Fray and wife Sally, and Dave Fray and wife Carol. Parents in-law Sharon and Wayne Wilson, and brother in-law Westly Wilson and wife Christina, and many nieces and nephews.
Lyle loved sports especially football, he was a semi-pro football player for the Portland Thunderbolts. He loved teaching his sons about sports. He was a dedicated father that always took his sons to baseball, basketball, soccer, practices, games, and scouts; he was a very proud father. Lyle was always there to help relatives, and friends with household projects, assisted with all the sports teams, or whatever else people needed him for. He worked as a service writer for McCoy Freightliner for 4 years. He had a passion and love for his job and was loved by his coworkers.
Funeral service for Lyle will be at Prince of Life Lutheran Church on Saturday August 17, 2019, at 11 am with lunch to follow. Lyle will be laid to rest at Mt. View Cemetery in the Nature Pathways.
