Pat Waud, along with his wife Sue, are the owners of Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud Funeral Service. Pat began his funeral career at a very young age. Growing up in Tillamook, Oregon, Pat helped his father and mother with the daily operations of the family mortuary until leaving for San Francisco School of Mortuary Science. In 1971, at the ripe old age of 26, Pat and Sue bought into Holman-Hankins & Rilance. Soon there after, Pat and his partner purchased Cochran's Sunset Chapel. With the retirement of Pat's partner a few years later, the Waud's found themselves the sole owner/operators of these two mortuaries. With great pride for his hard work, Pat has watched the success of Holman-Hankins-Bowekr & Waud Funeral Service over these many years.
Sue Waud has always managed to find the extra time to help her husband with the daily operations at Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud Funeral Service. Sue, a native of Portland, is very active in the community. When not at the funeral home, you are certain to find Sue designing beautiful floral arrangements at her flower shop in downtown Oregon City; the Wild Strawberry.
